Bud! Dude! Bro!

Most of my clients are women, they’re badass ladies who work hard and kill it every workout. Most of them are Moms and Wives, so let’s talk about their Husbands, my buddies, my neighbors. Somewhere there is a disconnect with a lot of us middle aged men.

My theory is ego and fear!

When I was younger I hated the age of the gym and the dudes who were clanging and banging. I didn't want to be there, I was intimidated! Then I thought about my kids and the future I wanted to have with them.

I think about this all the time now, I have this conversation everyday with these Moms and Wives who want their husbands around for their kids. The gym, a workout is hard, but life is harder if you can’t move through it healthy and happy.

DUDE! BRO! BUD! Get out of your head and get moving. I get it! You work hard at your job, you have duties around the house and kids, kids, kids! Hockey or ball once a week isnt enough, not when you’re following it up with 3 pints and wings. De-stress as necessary, but come on, let’s get moving. Your Wife is… for you!

Training a few times a week does a ton of things, first of all, you'll gain that lacking energy, you'll drop inches, drop pounds, and depending on what and how you train… those skates will move faster or that throw will actually make it to the infield. Oh yeah! You're wife will be all over you (true personal story!)

I’ll say it this way, training your wife is great, but she’s already bad ass and killing it, we both care about you and want you around and killing it for years.

BUD! DUDE! BRO! LET’S GET IT!
