Get back to where you once belonged!
Start from the beginning, again!
Re-Starts aren’t the end of the world, they can be a refresh, a reminder of where you came from. This latest (I’m calling it a Lock Out) break has really hit me hard, it’s grey, it’s cold and well it’s kicking us all down mentally. Physically taking care of ourselves is the last thing on the list. Maybe change that, try at least, for me
Think about your WHY! Think about the start, what got you to where you were before the emotional toll of the winter and lockdowns hit you hard. It wasn’t big, it was a “Hey, I need to change something, and this is what I love to do!” Do that again!
I chose to run, because that’s what I do! I am that guy who runs, to the point that’s how others refer to me as when I’m not around I guess. Running is what kick started Tim to become the Tim you see today. Running, changed my body, my emotional state, and the way I look and take on the world. I have friends new and old that running has done this for them as well. I have friends who train to fight for the same reasons, because the repetition of hitting pads, and I guess someone else (consider me the flight rather then the fight) helps keep them sane and happy. My sister, it’s yoga! It doesn’t matter, but go back to your beginning!
Re-starts don’t mean failure, re-starts mean a refusal to quit!
