Nobody puts Baby in a Lockdown!

Okay! So they do, but it doesn’t mean it has to hold you back.

This is not an anti-government, anti-vax post! You’re opinion is yours, I choose to do what will keep my family safe.

Currently where I live we’re in another lockdown in some form, shutting down gyms and training facilities. BOOOOOOO! What to do, what to do, go outside! Don’t be afraid of the cold, don’t be afraid of a walk or run! Transition to working out at home for a bit, I know it’s not the same but it’s something!

Physically moving staying active and sunlight are things our bodies need to keep us happy and mentally moving forward! We’re getting to that time of year where SAD is kicking in, and we just don’t want to get off the couch or out of bed. I’ve been hit with it as well, (training doesn’t start until 9 right now, the dark sky is making it hard to wake up) rely on movement and getting those endorphins up with exercise, get that dopamine hit!

With current restrictions in place, you do what you can and what’s right for you. Along with keeping in touch with my clients, I have gotten back on the roads heavily again, and man does it feel good, asphalt, rubber, bones and muscle, how I love how they work together! For you it might be HIIT training, yoga, weight training, or Pilates, what you want to do is right for you, just make sure you are doing!!!

We will come out of this soon enough, we will overcome all of this and live a normal modern life again. Until then, do what you can to stay strong and grow stronger!
